Across 2 years, 13 countries and 4 seasons, The View From The Top reaches over 300 posts. What started as an inspired photo challenge, has now become a visual journey of my travels as well as day to day living captured in squared snapshot views from the top!
Focused around imagery of the waist down (legs and feet), often featuring specific items/ objects (exotic fruit/ entry tickets) and more so, my surroundings (the beach/ landmarks); The VFTT takes on the same basic layout in every shot to express consistency across foreign settings and to explore a sense of creative consensus of different views. In other words, and something I picked up on my travels; Same Same but Different; The VFTT series could not be described any better!

I was there, yet I myself am still speechless!
With that said, I won’t distract from the amazing shot above with a hundred words. After all, A photo is worth a thousand words and I am sure you’ll agree with me when I say that this particular view is worth a couple of thousand words. Unspoken words that is!- Undoubtedly when it comes to Mother Nature, this is the best and only kind!

Not really much else to say. Its as simple as “Thats why I Love the Moon!”. These Photos say it all. And hey, they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and there are 7 of them here!
Said to be the Earth’s only natural satellite, the Moon is something I have always admired. Its beautiful and one a clear night, its really quite mesmerising. Especially when its a full Moon, I always find myself looking up in awe and smiling with delight. Yes, I’m easily pleased, but how can you not love it. It may sound strange; but looking up at the Moon, its almost refreshing and ironically brightens my “day”. So when I came across these amazing photographs, I had to share them. #TheSimpleThings
So I know its been a while (a long long while) but I’m back and so is the VFTT. After almost a year of not having travelled any where, I thought it was time for a break a way- in the Sun of course. A lover of all things exotic, culture and beautiful landscape, I spent 10 amazing days in Bali, Indonesia. After my trip to Thailand in 2013, I know i’d be back to South-East Asia in no time and with only 10 days to spare this time, I know i’ll be back again.
Capturing moments, experiences and tropical element; through vibrant colours, nature and pre-summer time vibes; these View From the Top shots are just a snippet of my first trip to Bali.

With the end of June slowly approaching and the weather on the up, it’s official; British summer is actually here. After 4 months in South America (majority in the sun) to having to spend my entire summer in London where “typical British weather” and rain are notorious, I was suspicious about the summer months. Nevertheless, sandal season is upon us and what better way to go about it than with an awesome pair of Marc Jacobs gold buckle up flats, matched with a colour-pop side bag. The foiled texture of the metallic shoes can complete a casual summertime-fine outfit; with a simple yet fashionable influence. Furthermore, the block-colour circular side bag is a perfect match with the geometric quilted detailing adding to the simply yet sophisticated look.
Ok so it’s a bit of a late post but hey, it’s better late than never right? After four long, exciting and adventurous months away, I concluded my travels in the beautiful land of Colombia. With minimal time in the cold capital, the VFTT soon fell back into line with some exotic shots from the north of the country and Caribbean coast that was Cartagena, Santa Marta and Parque Tayrona. From smooth black sand to crystal clear waters and bazaar packaged water, The VFTT’s South American journey gradually drew to an end.
