I was there, yet I myself am still speechless!

With that said, I won’t distract from the amazing shot above with a hundred words. After all, A photo is worth a thousand words and I am sure you’ll agree with me when I say that this particular view is worth a couple of thousand words. Unspoken words that is!- Undoubtedly when it comes to Mother Nature, this is the best and only kind!

…Being back here. In paradise. Listening to the slight breeze in between the palm trees, with the sounds of the ocean washing up upon the shore in the distance. As much much as there was a “noise” there was a blissful silence in the air. To go with Mother Earth’s whisper, her…[Continue Reading]

So as usual I found this photo on Instagram and yes (also as usual), I stole it. Well, screenshot it and saved it to my favorites! – I mean whats the difference really?!

But back to the main focus and purpose for this post; THIS PHOTO!

It is so BEAUTIFUL that I don’t really have any other words. I’ve run out of adjectives because there are not enough in the world to describe this shot. However, it is pretty much the epitome of Love, Happiness, Culture and Family!

Forget Pic of the Day, I’d “Pick” this photo everyday!

Each and every time I look at it, I can’t help but smile. 🙂
I hope it has the same effect on everyone else. #HappyTuesday

FullSizeRender-3…These Nike Huaraches are aaa-mazzz-iiinng! I never thought I’d be so pro trainers but these days I’m opting for the comfort of a good pair of kicks on a night out, rather than arch aching killer heels. Do not get me wrong, I will forever be obsessed with fabulous shoes; especially when it comes to a pair of designer heels that I’ve been eyeing up for months, while I save/ spontenous splurge; however you simple can not go wrong with practicality and comfy reliable footware. Plus, these particular trainers are gorgeous! Yes I said it! They are amazing; the colour, suede mix, style, petite little size…you name it; the perfect pair of Huaraches! #WishList

I think we can all agree that Jennifer Lopez looked amazing last night at this year’s Golden Globes. I wouldn’t naturally consider yellow for an evening gown, however Jlo certainly proved me wrong, as she pulled it off!

Wearing a caped Giambattista Valli haute couture gown and 200 carats of diamonds in accessories, Lopez looked absolutely stunning. As well as her choice of wardrobe, Jlo’s hair and makeup was on point; simple, elegant and drop-dead-gorgeous!

Did someone say WCW?

I have to be honest, I have no idea who this is and assuming she is a model I have no idea what or who she is wearing either. -[Guilty!]

Nonetheless, what she is wearing is undoubtedly sexy- And in an slightly elegant and graceful way, rather than sleazy slutty way!

I think its the attention to detail; thats almost delicate and fragile; that’s got me. The fit is amazing too.

I have to say; when it comes to lingerie; I kind of love it.

My favourite art gallery; The Saatchi and one of my favourite fashion house’s; Chanel, have come together to create greatness. The Saatchi’s latest exhibition explores the evolution of France’s leading lady and fashion extraordinaire; Coco Chanel, through “Mademoiselle PrivĂ©”. Taking up the entire gallery, the popular exhibit goes across 3 and features the original Chanel boutique, workshop replicas, art, inspiration, materials/fabrics, Chanel originals and many more…

“Mademoiselle PrivĂ©, a journey through the origins of Chanel’s creations, capturing the charismatic personality and irreverent spirt of Mademoiselle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.

This autumn, Karl Lagerfeld and CHANEL will present an enchanted journey through the House’s creativity. The “Mademoiselle PrivĂ©” exhibition will highlight the Haute Couture, the re-editions of the High Jewellery “Bijoux de Diamants” collection created in 1932 and CHANEL N°5. Opening the doors to reveal a dazzling experience and immersion into the origins of CHANEL’s creations, “Mademoiselle PrivĂ©” will capture the charismatic personality and irreverent spirit of Mademoiselle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.

Installed on all three floors of the Gallery, the enticing adventure will bring to mind the House’s essential elements: audacity, freedom and innovation whether it is the history of Gabrielle Chanel’s inspirations or Karl Lagerfeld’s inimitable take on CHANEL’s codes, symbols and icons.”-[Saatchi Gallery]

Below are some of my favourite pieces from the exhibition.

The play on slot machines, that featured Chanel’s infamous double Cs was quite fascinating. I liked the combination of High Fashion and a spot of Happy-Go-Lucky regular gambling; that took on an artistic approach. Also, the Haute Couture room was one that stood out most for me. The dark room that displayed delicate dresses; maintaining a tradition and attention to detail; against bright light rods was amazing. Described as …The ultimate union between craftsmanship and innovation… – I could not agree more! Finally, I really admired the front (door) of Chanel’s original boutique. It was simple and somewhat elegant; thus visually impactive, especially given how large the instillation was and the fact it was against a plain white wall.

Naturally, anything Chanel is high in demand, and together with one of London’s best art galleries [plus it was free], demand was certainly high. Visiting on a busy Wednesday evening, the queue was rather long and somewhat deceiving, but definitely worth the wait!

Here are some more snippets from Mademoiselle Privé @ The Saatchi.

Not really much else to say. Its as simple as “Thats why I Love the Moon!”. These Photos say it all. And hey, they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and there are 7 of them here!

Said to be the Earth’s only natural satellite, the Moon is something I have always admired. Its beautiful and one a clear night, its really quite mesmerising. Especially when its a full Moon, I always find myself looking up in awe and smiling with delight. Yes, I’m easily pleased, but how can you not love it. It may sound strange; but looking up at the Moon, its almost refreshing and ironically brightens my “day”. So when I came across these amazing photographs, I had to share them. #TheSimpleThings

…some of my favourites from last night’s red carpet!

Above is my favourite of them all. Although I’m yet to find out the designer for this gorgeous gown; director, screenwriter and film distributor; Ava DuVernay, pulls it off amazingly. The elegant dress is the perfect cut, colour and shape. DuVernay truly looked stunning. Although she did not win yesterday, she was nominated for best director for her work on Selma. She is also the first female black director to be nominated for a Golden Globe.

Below is Orange is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba (Crazy eyes) looking out of character but stunning nevertheless as she rocks a pastel gown and matching lippy on the red carpet. Teyonah Parris in a modern day Disney princess-like dress. Sharon Leal standing out in royal blue. Tracee Ellis Ross in a textured figure hugging dress. Kerry Washington is back in the game after her wardrobe horror at the Golden Globes a few weeks ago, as she poses in A red floor length dress and Ferragamo clutch. Last but not least is Gabrielle Union in a cut-out, slightly backless light peach dress.

Having seen this on my favourite social platform (yes, Instagram) I had to screen shot it. I mean who wouldn’t want this saved on their phone and perhaps set as a screensaver?! Its like a dream come true; mouthwatering chocolate cake, drizzled with a rich chocolate sauce and it contains 5 of your 5 a day– amazing! Time to get sourcing ingredients and throwing the apron back on. #bake
